Bucephalandra

Bucephalandra is a genus of small, slow-growing aquatic plants native to the streams and rivers of Borneo. These plants are prized in aquascaping for their vibrant, varied colors and unique leaf shapes. The leaves can range from dark green to shades of blue, red, and even purple, often with a glossy or textured surface. Bucephalandra is adaptable and can be grown attached to rocks, driftwood, or other aquarium decorations. They thrive in low to moderate light conditions and do not require carbon dioxide injection, making them suitable for beginners.
